Turkey Sandwich

“Take this as well.” Beryl went over to the counter and slapped together a turkey sandwich and put it in a brown paper sack. “You haven’t had dinner yourself.”

“Thank you.” Alec accepted the bag and the jar and left, heading towards the Stronghold.

Alec sat in a chair and pulled out half of his sandwich….The sourdough bread was wonderfully soft, the amount of mustard was delicate, the red onions were present but not overwhelming, and the tender turkey and crisp lettuce perfectly complemented one another. Beryl hadn’t worked in a café her whole life for nothing.

Sauce Instructions

As with the sandwich, customize the sauce to taste. The Moonwater Café uses more mayonnaise and sour cream than yellow mustard to create a delicate flavor.
